At T. Lees, our philosophy is simple: we focus on creating high quality products and fragrances to nourish the mind, body and soul. When we create a new product, we spend as much time researching the raw material, the natural / synthetic options available as well as weighing the cost / benefit ratio of each before deciding on the final formulation.
Each of our products is handcrafted in small quantities in Montreal, Quebec, with the utmost care. From the formula to the packaging and the sale, we strive to provide the customer with a product that he will love and that will promote a feeling of well-being and health. The basic ingredients of our face and body care products are natural, sustainable, organic (where possible) and carefully selected.
Our home fragrances are formulated with a basic idea: odors are an integral part of our lives. An odor can cause an avalanche of memories, influence people's moods and even affect their performance at work. T. Lees' goal is to create fragrance blends for all tastes and activities, whether it's taking a relaxing bath after a long day or sitting down to drink scotch with friends.
We are so proud of everything we make and hope you enjoy our products as much as we enjoy creating them!
Always in small batches. Always handmade.
Our body soaps are made with coconut oil, olive oil, sustainable palm oil and castor oil, to which are added the best exotic butters, oils nourishing plants, clays and essential / fragrance oils. Once you have experienced the luxury of our handmade soap, your skin will thank you!
Our candles are made from soybeans grown in the United States, GMO free, which are mixed with 100% natural vegetable oils to produce a candle that burns longer, while being cleaner and that leaves little or no more waste. On the other hand, the candles are scented with a mixture of synthetic fragrance oils and 100% pure essential oils to produce the most scented candle possible.
Many people ask us why we don't just use essential oils to create a 100% natural candle. Simply put, essential oils generally do not react very well in candles and do not produce the quality of scent that most people would expect from a scented candle. So we choose what we believe to be the best possible alternative. The same thought process applies to the use of synthetic preservatives.
Any product containing water or that may come into contact with water (except soap) must contain a broad spectrum preservative to prevent the growth of molds, yeasts and other harmful bacteria, which may not only ruin the product, but also be dangerous for the consumer. For us, the decision to add preservatives to our products was simple, we prefer to add a synthetic ingredient at a rate below 1% rather than risking the quality of our products or the health of those who choose to appreciate them. One of the most important goals of T. Lees is to ensure that the customer receives a product that he will appreciate.
In 2019, we created a friendly space where you can make your own candles, get materials for creating your candles at home and of course, buy our products: candles, soaps and lip balms. For more info
