Our philosophy

At T. Lees, our philosophy is simple: we focus on creating high quality products to nourish the mind, body and soul. When we create a new product, we spend as much time researching the raw material, including both the natural and synthetic options available as well as weighing the cost - benefit ratio of each before deciding on the final formulation.

Each of our products is handcrafted in small quantities in Montreal, Quebec, with the utmost care. From the formula to the packaging and the sale, we strive to provide the customer with a product that he will love and that will promote a feeling of well-being and health. 

The unique fragrance blends used in our candles are created with a basic idea: scents are an integral part of our lives. A fragrance can cause an avalanche of memories, influence people's moods and even affect their performance at work. T. Lees' goal is to create fragrance blends for all tastes and activities, whether it's taking a relaxing bath after a long day or sitting down to drink scotch with friends.

Our products

Our candles are made from 100% natural, GMO-free soy wax produced using soybeans grown only in the United States. As a result, our candles burn longer, cleaner and leave little or no waste (as compared to candles made using paraffin waxes). 

We use high quality fragrance oils composed of both synthetic and natural compounds which are free of toxins such as parabens, formaldehyde and phthalates.

Many people ask us why we don't use 100% pure essential oils to create our candles. Simply put, essential oils generally do not react very well in candles and do not produce the quality of scent that most people would expect from a quality scented candle. In addition, some essential oils can produce harmful toxic fumes when heated above certain temperatures.
